I was given the first 27 pages of "The Angel Maker" to read-- and I wish that it was longer than that! Page 27 ends in a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens next! A few characters have been introduced- a 30+ year old mom/teacher who made a decision in her teens that she regrets, 2 detectives, and a rich dead man who mysteriously laid off his entire household crew a day before his murder. Nothing is connected yet, but I'm intrigued by all of the characters and want to know what happens next.
