In the same style as Alex North's other novels, the story takes very little time for plot set up and dives right on into the action.
At first I thought the plot might dive a little more into "teach the reader a lesson" territory, but it does not dwell in the past too long and quickly shifts gears from the past to the present and takes you on a wild ride.
This is another North book I'd definitely like to add to the collection.
