This is definitely a book I'm interested in picking up. I never read a book by E.K. Johnston but I've been meaning to. The writing is beautiful and whimsical! The history of the world is interesting and I want to know more.
I also want to know more about the main character and the world in general. I want to know more about her and where she's from and what her future is. From what I've heard, Johnstons characters are great and people get attached to them. The world itself seems complicated filled with rich history and culture and I love when an author creates such a world.
Fantasy is difficult to write, especially when it's so dense. Readers can get easily confused and the world can get tangled up but so far Johnston is doing a great job building this world for us.
