Author E.K. Johnston has a powerful writing style that will keep you interested, that's for sure. Her descriptions were amazing and made you feel as though you were RIGHT THERE.
As you can see from the cover, this book is about bad-a** female knights / warriors. This is a fantasy, action-based young adult novel. The characters are well-developed. The storyline is action-packed. There's so much adventure going on, BUT it also tacks realistic matters for young females.
Based on this book alone, I'll definitely be checking out other books by E.K. Johnston.
