I’ve been meaning to pick up her book from a few years ago, “ A Thousand Nights,” but you know how that goes when you have a never-ending to-be-read pile...it’s easy to forget!
This book is intriguing to me because the writing isn’t what I’m used to, I haven’t read much “ high” fantasy but really enjoy YA fantasy novels, especially when women rule! The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard is one of my faves!
This book has two women rulers...what?! Talk about female empowerment, and it seems like the two main characters may have a bit of a romance going on and I’m so there for it! Also this looks to be interacial if I’m going by the cover. All of this diversity, I love it!
This book is not one I’d usually pick up, so I’d really like to be chosen to read it and test my limits, I could be the next biggest fan of high fantasy! We will see.
