Oh, I so hope this is going to be f/f! It certainly appears so, with the intimate friendship between dogged and persevering knight to be Kalanthe and wildcard thief with a penchant for trouble, Olsa. The Before and After chapters highlight the quest for the godsgem (with an almost all female crew!!!) alongside the present-day fallout of the girls’ heroism.
