I promise you, I so wanted to love this book.

Everything occurring in one short time frame? Yes, please!
A race against the clock? Yes, please!
But... what? Who? Huh? I got so lost in this story. I couldn't keep up with the timeline or who was who or even how the clues connected together. It was clunky, stumbled over itself several times, and unfortunately, I didn't care if he succeeded or if Evelyn survived!
I tried though, I really did. I didn't quit. I doggedly plugged along and now I realize I should have just left it aside because it wasn't worth my time.
