I really wanted to like this book - but alas, 'twas not to be. The way all the puzzle pieces of Aiden's actions fit together over the day was really cool, but the characters felt flat and unlikable, the writing was a little overwrought, and I wasn't invested enough in the story to really enjoy it. While the body-hopping device was interesting, the explanation behind it felt like a last-minute addition.

On the other hand, I did really enjoy the way the author pieced Aiden's actions together. There are a lot of timelines that need to be managed and the way he has Aiden work out the mystery was quite clever. I was able to guess some twists but not others, which I always consider the hallmark of a good mystery. Had the story been more stringently edited, I would have liked it more.

Would recommend to those mystery lovers who like a puzzle, and discourage those mystery lovers who care about the characters in the drama.
