This has a slow start, but don't give up!

It too me a little while to get into this book. The narrator has no memories, is inside a stranger’s body, and has no idea what’s going on, so he and I were both confused for the first 50 pages or so. Once the main character Aiden was on his way to unraveling the mystery and solving the murder, though, I was definitely hooked and could not put it down.

The premise, with the main character reliving the same day in a different body, is unique and the tension builds both because of the limitations of the bodies he's in and because of others in the house trying to stop him. The plot is so intricate, with all the time jumps and things that don't make sense until later. I'm in awe of how the author managed to keep track of all the threads and the little details that don't make sense until the end. I doubt I'll reread this because I so rarely do, but I think it would be fascinating to do so knowing how everything ends now. 4.5 stars, rounded up.
