My Favorite Book Club Pick So Far!
It took me a while to get into the book because it was really confusing at first, but by about Day 3 I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. There are so many things I want to discuss with someone so I’m glad this was a book club book! All the twists and turns gave us a lot to discuss as well as the overall philosophical questions at the end that I can’t write about without giving it away!
I like that the plot was solved with some hard work and lots of twists. Some things I definitely had a feeling about but some were just so out of the blue which is how a great mystery should be! The different days/characters were such a unique way to tell the story, and I loved how it just kept adding more layers in the mystery. I felt like the pacing was just right with that method. The protagonist showed great growth at the end which is always nice to see.
I so much wanted this book to be a series so I could keep reading more characters and explore the whole concept at the end more. However, Turton ended it really well so there probably can’t be a sequel, but I’d absolutely read something else by Turton.
