I love a good mystery I can sink my head into and try to wrap my head around. The premise of The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a fascinating one, one that I've only ever seen in movies or tv shows. Having to relive the same day over and over, Aiden Bishop tries – and fails – to save Evelyn Hardcastle at a gala party hosted by her parents.
While the same day is repeated over and over, that doesn't make this book dull or repetitive. The author decided to make his main character wake up in a different cast member's body each day, bringing something unique to the table with each chapter. It's an original book with a fascinating mystery for sure, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend this if you love mysteries!
