This book was fantastic and so different from anything I've ever read! In The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, Aiden Bishop wakes up in the body of a different person every day for eight straight days. He inhabits the characteristics of the person he's in and has very little to no memories of his life before. His goal, as he is told by a mysterious figure, it to solve a murder, a murder that hasn't happened yet, one that he will witness again and again from different perspectives. He doesn't know who to trust or why he has to do this. It's a thrilling ride with a lot of "aha!" moments as Aiden lives and relives each day, fitting the pieces of the puzzle together. The characters that Aiden inhabits are unique and interesting, both advancing Adien's quest and holding him back. I had no idea what was in store for the big finale but I had a lot of fun playing along. It's not a book you can skip through....you've really got to invest the time and look for the clues, but it's well worth it.
