A good mystery
3.5 stars
This did the job of keeping me guessing and thoroughly engaged while reading, but I found the main characters motivation for the majority of the story pretty weak. Why did he want to save Anna after knowing her for barely a day technically. Similarly he wanted to save Evelyn because she was the bare minimum of nice to him one day?? The reveal was definitely not something I would've guessed though and I actually liked it. The time travel/body switching thing didn't totally make sense to me and even after finishing the book I'm still confused but I never like time travel, so maybe take that with a grain of salt.
Lastly my attention was brought to the fat shaming/fatphobia that this book contains which I don't support and I'm not a fan of.
Overall I did like the mystery and thought this did a good job with suspense, but the characters (really there's only one) could've been fleshed out more and I could've done with a little less fat shaming.
