🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars for a 500% honest review!

As a huge fan of mystery-thriller books, this one has been an amazing read for me. Why? Because the author was able to manage his thoughts well and it resulted to a wonderful masterpiece. A lot of characters, a lot of information, different scenes here and there and yet his timeline made sense as you read throughout the whole damn book. Mind you, each scene, character, and information is important to the story; without each and every one of those, there would be a missing piece to the puzzle of this book.

”Too little information and you’re blind, too much and you’re blinded.”

Though for other readers (some, not saying all) who are not into this genre, i’m sure you’d like this but would eventually get tired of reading maybe because of its length and/or the jumping from one scene to another plus all those characters can be a little bit too much.

MOVING ON —
while i was reading this book, i honestly felt Aiden; his struggle, his confusion, his determination, his frustration, and everything else you can add to the list. I connected well to his character because at first, it would seem like an impossible to task to solve this murder, but he pulled through. And he was right when he said that each and every one of his hosts were important; their skills and limitations were all able to help him solve each and every single death in the story. He surpassed the task that was handed to him despite his rejections.

Many of the reviews i’ve seen said that they were disappointed at how the book ended. In my point of view, i wouldn’t have it any other way because all the questions i had in the beginning of the story were all answered and explained. I even liked how they both got out of Blackheath — Aiden and Anna — despite Anna’s past, because i had imagined myself in that situation and Aiden said it himself; reliving that day, over and over and over again until it was solved, seeing all those things happening, the killings, the betrayals, the lies, a sane person could end up being a madman & that’s how i realized that Anna’s past could really have died in there already. And besides, leaving Blackheath, they were given a choice to bring back all their memories or remember what they can and continue to be the person who they are now.

”I became the thing i hated and made Annabelle into the thing i loved.”

Hands down to the author for creating such a wonderful book. If i haven’t read Agatha Christie’s books or known/heard about her, i would believe and say that he’s one of the best mystery-thriller author in this world. But still, even with Christie’s works, this book is still outstanding as it is!
I wasn’t even able to solve Evelyn’s case before i finished reading 🕵🏻‍♀️

Would i recommend this? ABSOLUTELY!! Especially to die hard fans of mystery-thriller books, y’all are gonna love this one!

”Every day after this one is a gift.
I just have to keep walking until i get there.”

Happy reading! :)
