Some books, when you start them, you just KNOW you're going to devour to the exclusion of everything else. This is one of them.

I was first drawn to the Art Deco cover and am intrigued by the overall premise of the book. But it is the author’s skillful use of language to create the eerie world our narrator finds himself in and the well-crafted descriptions of place and persons that will keep me reading. I admit, from the moment we meet the narrator who has no idea who he is, where he is or why he's in the woods shouting a woman's name, I was hooked.

When the full copy is available, I will stock the fridge and tell my family to fend for themselves until I can get to the end of what promises to be an all-consuming story.
