After reading Lynda La Plante's previous Widows books, and absolutely loving them, I had to get my hands on her other works. Tennison is the first book in her Jane Tennison series and I loved it even more than her other books! I loved that it's set in the 1970's and La Plante did an awesome job of transporting me there through the story. I enjoyed joining Jane on her wild ride with her first murder case in her make-dominated field. This is a great start to what promises to be a great series of detective/crime Thrillers! I highly recommend to all that love the genre!
