I wasn't impressed with this book. You have a cop that you can just tell right from the get go she is a bedraggled type of person and nothing ever goes her way and it is proven when she runs into someone. When she helps the lady back to her house the lady's son goes off on her and instead of stepping up for herself she gets pushed around. Not my type of book, I wouldn't have continued reading it.
