If you're hoping to get hooked within the first chapter, this isn't the the thriller for you, but perhaps it's a slow build. However, I found that the opening chapter is both unrealistic and predictable and unless there is a shocking twist, I feel certain that I've guessed some main plot points without actually reading the rest of the book. The cover is definitely attention grabbing but the blurb and the preview aren't doing this book any favors.
