I have been a huge fan of the character Jane Tennison since watching the series Prime Suspect unfold on television. Tennison is a look back at the character, from the age of 22, just after exiting the Metropolitan Police Training Academy. As she embarks on her storied career, Jane's strength and will is put to the test right off the bat. I thought the cover art was enticing and would encourage readers to pick up the book at their local library or bookstore.
