The group Corie hangs out with at lunch every Wednesday , consists of a variety of personalities who all have one thing in common... they all run their own home businesses. At lunch they take turns discussing something they are working on. Pete Delaney always seems to act strangely by always choosing the same chair getting there early for lunch so he can see his car at all times.
The story is a little slow as you will find Corie going of on all kinds of different thoughts. She is very witty and snarky which probably should get her into a lot of trouble. What will she find out about Pete? Is Corie over reacting or are her suspicions justified?
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a nice cross between a cozy mystery and a detective novel. The end really picked up and kept my attention as I kept reading to find out what was going to happen!
