I will start by saying this book took me much longer to get through then is normal for me. I liked Susan's style of writing and her putting so much humor through was refreshing; but I did think it to be a bit slow and that Corie was imagining Pete's lack of personality and everything that led up to her initial suspicions. However, I was not expecting the ending and that was a nice surprise factor. I did finish wanting more for Corie; it's clear she wanted more in life, and just made herself "okay" with her living situation and job. I did enjoy the characters, remarkably Wynne for being so exotic and out of the ordinary. It was a good book, but it wasn't a showstopper for me in particular. I wouldn't mind reading a sequel that focused around Wynne, however. Overall, a decent and pleasurable read.
