Based on the sneak preview and the cover image, this seems like the most fun you can have with a murder mystery. It doesn't have quite the feeling of a cozy mystery (and the blood-stained fence on the cover definitely isn't cozy territory!), instead the first chapter reads like it could be the first chapter of a beach read - I'd love to find out how the book turns from "my neighbor seems odd" to the image on the cover.
