Corie seems to have the perfect life after marrying the perfect guy, Josh, and has a lovely stepdaughter. She retired from the FBI after marrying Josh and even though she is a literary scout, that is not enough for her. Is Pete hiding something? I think that Corie might have an overactive imagination and that would be a funny way to go with the book but it is probably not going to be that. This book seems intriguing and I wouldn't mind reading to to see of Corie is right about Pete or not.
