Corie Geller has done a complete makeover and turnaround in her life, going from an unattached FBI special agent to the married mom of a nine-year old judge's daughter, and she's supremely happy with her new life, even as she's settling in to some of the changes, like her recently weekly luncheon meetings with a group of other people who've changed careers, thanks to the recent repression.

Corie's realizing that she doesn't really belong in this group and that she's getting bored with attending their weekly revendevouses. But at this latest luncheon, she starts wondering about Pete Delaney, a package designer that attends their luncheons every week. He's a bit of a puzzler. Always arrives early and sits in the same seat each week, where he can keep an eye on his Jeep in the parking lot, never saying too much or too little during their chats or really giving himself away. Corie thinks there may be something going on with Pete, but can't figure out what it is, and the feelings alert her internal radar, just as feelings were alerted when she worked in the FBI.

Love the book's title and jacket! Definitely an interesting start to what will be a great novel!
