Maybe it gets better after the first chapter, but neither the synopsis nor the sneak peek drew me in. First, she just gave up her career because she married rich? Hm, you lost me right there. Second, nothing really drew me in. The first chapter is largely background and exposition. Nothing that really makes me want to keep reading. So right now, I’d rate this as a maybe-read if I had nothing else in the TBR.
