Not for me
Thanks to bookishfirst and the publisher for the gifted copy of this one. I tried to read this and only made it about 40 pages in. I liked the premise of time stopping in June 2020 but it didn’t seem like things were explained or anything was really. It felt like I was given pieces of stories and then it would abruptly change to something else. I’m not sure who would enjoy reading that.
I just feel like I was not getting anything and I wasn’t sure when it would be explained, if ever.
The characters seemed okay but not overly interesting. I really did not enjoy the writing style of this one. It felt like reading someone’s jotted notes and I didn’t see a story there.
This was very abstract and maybe it would be great for someone that would enjoy that type of story. I know that it is not for me. I wish I could make the review shorter and more succinct! It has to be so long.
