This was such a unique book that it requires a very specific reader. Most of the time I wasn't completely certain as to what was going on! And that can be a good thing, I want writers to experiment and try new things, especially in young adult literature.

It takes place in a world where time has stopped, and oh boy did it feel like that during 2020. Everyone is searching for a way to turn time back on. The time issue has pervaded society so much that all students are required to take a class that solely exists to solve the problem. And everyday, Tru's dad builds boxes around boxes in their house.

This book has a lot to say about family relationships, javelins, weirdly, and magical powers. It is really unlike any other book in canon, for better or worse, I'm not sure. It's for everyone in to surrealism, which I am absolutely not. Still, I can appreciate the effort.
