This sounds so interesting. The way the author set up the situation sounded suspiciously like the Covid-19 pandemic, which was funny. It's unique how the narrator talks directly to us. It makes it more like the narrator is telling us the story personally. What is also unique about this author is the use of the backslash instead of conjunction words. Yet another uniqueness to this book is subheadings. Novels normally don't have those, so it makes the book seem more like an historical paper. I'm not sure how I feel yet about these unusual aspects, but I'm excited to continue.
