First off, the author is adorable! How do I know this? The absolutely gorgeous pictures that she has scattered throughout the book of herself and baking and sweet treats. The tone of the book is upbeat, quirky and motivating.....in a real way. The recipes that were shared seem of average length and difficulty so that even amateur cooks can follow these directions and have success.
I enjoyed the way the author encourages cooking from scratch. It seems that this book is geared towards a younger audience (think Millenials and younger), but I think that anyone could gain wisdom from her words and tasty treats for their mouths. I mean, come on, who is really going to share these with their meany ex of any sort? Cook them and invite over a real friend!
