This book is different than your typical baked-goods book - and I mean different in the best way! At first glance, it may seem that the book is very busy. The book may be full of sassiness, tongue-in-cheekness, and aiming-for-a young-adult-audienceness... but it is also spot on with twists on classic and favorite recipes and baking hacks and tips.
It includes sections such as: GO AHEAD AND BITE-ME SIZED TREATS (Cookies, Bars, & Balls) and I NEVER KNEADED YOU ANYWAY (Breads & Pastries). I have many pages dog-eared so that I can go back and try them - first up will have to be You're a Total Monster (AKA Cap'n Crunch Monster Cookies!)! And this is from someone who is "a bit" beyond the target age and lifestyle, and a non-baker to boot!
