Hmm, I'd say this cookbook is for those with a good sense of humor. It's colorful, zesty, and fun to read all around. There's mostly recipes in this book, but every once in a while, a random page like "How to spot a nut when you see one" comes along (ascribing different cartoon personalities of nuts) and those were the parts I enjoyed the most.

Now as a cookbook, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Half of it is what I call birthday party food (loud, colorful, random, and a bit of a head-scratcher considering you're using cheetos and ramen at times), but for the other half, I did start drooling just a bit, so there you go. I think young people like teens and those in their twenties will enjoy this as inspiration for gatherings or having a good time cooking with their friends, but for the older, more serious crowd, I doubt it.

Bottom line, I recommend it if you want something a bit kooky and yummy, but not if you want serious recipes or tips on cooking.
