So...I have to confess that I know next to nothing about cooking and baking. I've tried it in the past and I've never been good at it. At a certain point in my life, I just gave up. Then this book popped up and at first, I dismissed it and read the First Look just to look at it. Then, I really got into it. I thought the author had incredible humor and great advice. Though I will never be incredible at baking, this book certainly gave me a lot of ideas. I only tried out a few of the recipes, but that's mostly because I don't have a lot of supplies. It's also a book that I think is really fun to read with friends and bake together. Since its such a fun book, I'd also like to mention that I liked the aesthetic of the whole book.
