This is a beautifully written book that tugs at your heartstrings. I am not an avid reader of memoirs but I thought I would give this one a try and I’m so glad I did. I loved the story she had to tell and the way she told it was stunning. It was emotional and honest. She didn’t hold back on how she felt during those times in her life. I felt like I was walking right next to her while she was in the women’s home. Her account of her time there was heartbreaking. I couldn’t imagine going through everything she has been through. This book showcases the good and bad parts of her life. Through it all she persevered and it shows how resilient women are. I would recommend this book to all of my book loving friends. I also think it would be a good book for any woman that has been through something similar. It’s a powerful book about love and heartbreak. I loved it!
