The cover pulled me in, though with that being said, I dont know that the picture alone would accurately portray the genre of book. I think it would be cool to see a real life photo of some kind on the front, or even a collage. Then you can't miss the fact that it's a memoir.

As for the book itself, I was hooked from the start. It was intriguing, and I knew from the end of the first chapter that it would be an emotional ride. The juxtaposition of the author's life as an adoptee and having to give her own child up for adoption leads to a touching story that I'm sure will only get better as it goes along.
