This story is themed adoption. The main character was adopted and also gave up her first born child when she got pregnant at 16 years old. She signed away her rights to her child. It's interesting her perspective on things as she was adopted herself. She married the father of her first born child and had more children. I loved that they ended up together. I understood why she didn't want to move for her husband's job. I sympathized with the characters and found the story very interesting.
