This book is a science fiction thriller with strong psychological undertones. This made for a book that I promise will stay with you for a long time after you are done reading it. It starts off chilling, but promising. Because of an environmental and astronomical event, everyone over the age of thirteen on planet Earth is destined to die within a matter of months. Therefore humanity has very little time to prepare the children of the world on how to run everything. While things start off great, they quickly deteriorate into chaos. This book is very much a modern day, science fiction Lord of the Flies. It's really incredible to watch how these various groups of children act and react to the planet being theirs. Wonderful!
