The premise of this book is fantastic, but I can’t bring myself to suffer through reading about people trying to quickly pass on their knowledge to the children left behind. Once again, it’s another story where everything in the world is for the children. And once again, people are still having babies even though they know they’re going to be left behind with just other children to care for them. And once again, the future is going to be so much brighter and better because children are so wonderful so who cares millions of adults are going to die? Barf. I sure hope the childfree and childless people in this story weren’t expected to sacrifice their last days on earth to help prepare other people’s children to survive after all the adults are gone. I hope they were able to go out in style!
