While sci-fi is my least favorite genre, most always, I was intrigued enough by the prologue to think that this one might hold my interest. Sadly, as I began to read the initial chapters, I realized there was way too much science for my liking. I found it interesting that this book also had a cast of characters like the other in this week's "First Look". That's just not something you often see in fiction. Although I have many students who would love this work of science-fiction, it's a real miss for me.
