From the author of Frankly in Love, prepare to meet super (fake) Rockstar Sunny Dae. After falling in love with the nerdy girl, Cirrus Soh, Sunny is forced to succumb to the lie that he is in a rock band. The only problem is, he isn't. Instead he was assumed to be after a case of mistaken identity. But Sunny isn't about to tell Cirrus that.

Yoon's rom-com of a novel literally takes 'fake it till you make' to the next level. even though at times, the point of views became a bit tangled. But I loved how the romance wasn't at the forefront of the novel. Though this wasn't my favorite of Yoon's two works, it still provides laughs and sweet moments that are known in his writing.

If you're in need of a good laugh. I would certainly pick this one up. As well as David Yoon's other novel, Frankly in Love. But if you're in need a good cry, might I suggest the heartbreak of Nicola Yoon.
