Super Fake Love Song is a lighthearted, romantic comedy in which Sunny Dae creates a fake band to impress a girl. Great for a beach read or home read. This is a good book to read when you need to read something lighthearted and happy. Sunny is your typical teenager who is into Dungeons and Dragons and is introduced to the new girl Cirrus. It is a book about being yourself and challenging oneself to try new things. The Dae family is delightful and spunky. Gray is Sunny's older brother who he uses as a template for cool. Rock bands, friends, and teenage shenanigans. The cover of the novel was colorful and pretty. This novel is good for a beach read or a pick me up during the pandemic for both young and old adults. You are never to old for a romantic comedy. David Yoon is a talented author and artist. Looking forward to reading his other works. Four stars.
