This is the story of a self proclaimed Geek faking being his brother (and the star of a rock band) in order to impress a girl. This story is filled with heart, awkward teen life, and not judging a book by it's cover. The main character and his three friends run a fairly successful web channel designating Cosplay items and when Sunny's parents introduce him to their friend's daughter Sunny know exactly what he needs to hide to impress her...or does he? Sunny and his friends practice daily and slip into the "cool kids" group in high school by pretending to be a rock band. Will everything go according to plan? Probably not, but when does teen life EVER go exactly the way we planned it?
This was a very enjoyable read, and a reminder to teens everywhere that "cool" is an ever changing status and even those in the "cool crowd" may not be who we think they are from the outside.
