Sunny Dae is shy, unpopular kid dealing with high school as best he can. Enter Cirrus Soh, a cool, beautiful girl. After meeting Cirrus, Sunny finds himself taking up a persona of a rockstar in an attempt to be as cool as Cirrus is. Cue some really funny, adorable antics and you’ve got a YA rom-com that will surely grab the attention of many young teens.
Cirrus and Sunny are extremely relatable, which makes the story all the more fun to follow, and I was rooting for them to be together the entire time.
Every side character was amazing, they added a lot to the story and gave varying perspectives on what life is like as a teen in modern day America.
Overall, Super Fake Love Song was an entertaining read and I can’t wait for my physical copy to come in!
