I did not finish this book. There is just something about David Yoon's writing that does not mesh well with me. I originally was interested in his books because I enjoyed his wife's books. Like his previous book, Frankly in Love (which I also did not finish), the premise sounded really cute and fun to me. However, from the first chapter onward I just could not get into the story. I don't know if it is because the character does not act his age, or because there is more showing than telling, but I did not connect to the main character or his story. Though the cover is really cute and will certainly grab the attention of its target audience, who will probably enjoy it more than I did. So I did not gel with this book, but I do not typically read contemporary so I am probably not the best judge. But if you enjoyed his previous book, you will probably enjoy this one as well.
