This is an enjoyable young adult love story! If you are looking for an easy, fun read look no further. It was a good escape from what’s going on in the world right now. I loved the characters. I liked how each character had dimension. Sunny was very immature at times but would surprise me with his insight. He was very good at reading people and I also enjoyed reading his inner monologues. I loved the true friendship Sunny had with Jamal and Milo. They were willing to go to great lengths to make their friend happy. I appreciated how well everyone’s vulnerabilities and insecurities were displayed in this book. I feel like this book would resonate with a lot of young readers. I just thought Sunny’s love interest Cirrus was adorable. I think she would have found Sunny endearing with or without the his rockstar status. The ending was predictable but very sweet!
