I really enjoyed this one from David Yoon. I've read one of his other books, and liked it a lot so I was excited to read this one too. This book was a fun little story about love, among other things. I liked the main character, Sunny. He's totally loveable and relatable to my teenage self a bit, haha. Maybe that's why I liked him so much?

I also really liked the diversity of the characters in the story. Sonny, and his friends, Jamal and Milo, are all different ethnicities. That's so nice to see in stories now, especially for young readers.

I did feel like this whole story was super cheesy. When Sonny fell in love, it felt like there was no development. It's just all of a sudden, he's in love. And coming up with a fake band to impress her after so quickly just declaring love for her? Not realistic at all, lol. But once you know that you're about to read a cheesy love story, it's a fun read.
