I can't help but compare this to Frankly In Love. It wasn't quite as good as Frankly in love, but it was much more light hearted than that book. A dorky teen pretends to be in a rock band to impress a girl.

Its not a big fabricated lie that Sunny (it bothered me that it wasn't Sonny) told. I looked at is as him taking on his brothers identity almost. Sunny is a nerd. I mean he is a huge old dork (which I am too, so dorks unite). Is brother is a little cooler and is actually in a band and trying to make it in LA. But once Sunny meets Cirrus (seriously, the names are the only negative thing I have to say about this book). The book itself was adorable at least in my opinion. The characters were all so nerdy, so dorky and so quirky that I couldn't help but fall in love with almost every one. Especially Sunny.

Yes, I said the characters are nerdy, but not in a uncomfortable way at all. It really is adorable how dorky they are, It was a cute book that flowed easily.
Def 3.5 for me
