If you're a real big, huge, awesome nerd (especially a boy one) please read this book. It teaches you very important things: that it is only awkward if you make it awkward and that you've been a rockstar all along.
At the end of the day, it's a tale about a boy who likes a pretty girl and goes along with a little lie because he wants her to like him. This whole book was just one big ode to being a nerd. I felt personally called out by this beautiful book. It was so packed full of geeky references and cute relationships.
David Yoon knows what true love is and you can tell it in his writing. Sunny was a real and raw character. In the way that he made bad decisions, rarely said the perfect thing, and didn't realize that he was the dream guy all along just by being himself.
This is a book with a big heart. Character development (a lot of it). And how we can learn something from every relationship.
