Sunny Dae is a Ray of Sunshine - MUST read YA
After reading Yoon’s last title, Frankly in Love, I was MORE than excited to get to read an excerpt from this upcoming release. Everything about this book makes it a must read YA, from the incredible book design with it’s catchy cover (see what I did there?! ;) what’s not to love about a teen trying to impress the girl he likes by faking being in a band?! Fake it till you make it, even if you make it worse by not just telling the truth.
I quickly fell in love with the writing style, witty and fun and SO relatable for teens and anyone who used to BE one. What teen doesn’t have an embarrassing moment they’re still reliving years later? From the moment I started reading the prologue, the well written word choices that not only made me feel nostalgic, but kept my attention - I already cannot wait to read the rest of what I’m sure is a quirky & delightful read.
