Not for me..
I had the same problem with David Yoon's first book, Frankly in Love (which I DNF'd). Something about the voice of the main character doesn't mesh with me. Also, the character doesn't sound his age; for instance, he is in middle school at the beginning, but he uses phrases like "I missed the backpack hooks of my old school of yesteryear and their implicit belief in the goodness of society." It just sounds off to me. That being said though, if you liked his debut book, you might like this one!
