I was not a huge fan of this preview; the writing was fine, but a pet peeve of mine is when a book does not adhere to the "show and don't tell" principle.
The book consistently talks about what a nerd the protagonist is to the point that it was more annoying than endearing to me, but I am also not the target audience for this book so that fact should also be considered.
